Hello Book Club Learners! Please be prepared to talk about our next book, We Should Hang Out Sometime: Embarrassingly, a True Story, for our next Book Club! We will read up to page 92.

From Readings.com.au: "Sundquist, even though he is a YouTube star, has managed to turn a somewhat embarrassing story into a funny, touching book about the anxieties that come with fancying someone and not knowing how to tell them, or getting up the courage to tell them and facing rejection. Overall, he has written a heartwarming story, taking a good look at himself and the insecurities he internalises, as well as at his projects. This is a great read for young adults who want a romance without the romance, but with many laughs."
He is also a motivational speaker, stand-up comedian, and paralympian.

Hello Literacy Book Club! For our next Book Club meeting we will read some short stories together (and we can also vote on watching White Fang, too!) The Short Stories for August 27 are: Lamb to the Slaughter by Roald Dahl There Will Come Soft Rains by Ray Bradbury They're Made Out of Meat by Terry Bisson There are also a few typos in "Lamb," and they are: "So there it is," he added.
